Where it comes from

Ghizer sits in the west of Gilgit-Baltistan, high enough that the fruit ripens slowly and dries in open mountain air rather than in a machine. That is most of what makes it worth carrying — nothing is done to it afterwards that needs explaining.

Apricots, walnuts, almonds and mulberries come from the valley itself. Cashews and pistachios do not grow at this altitude, so those we buy from suppliers we trust elsewhere and never dress up as Ghizer crops.

Honey is cold-extracted and never heated, so the pollen and enzymes survive the trip to the jar. Shilajit is collected from high Karakoram rock, purified the traditional way and lab-tested for heavy metals before any of it is sold.

How We Work

Three Steps, No Middle

  1. 01

    Sourced

We buy from growers in Ghizer and the valleys around it, in season, at the scale a household orchard actually produces.

  2. 02

    Sorted and packed

Sorted by hand, packed by weight, and sealed the day an order goes out. No preservatives, no sulphur, no colouring.

  3. 03

    Sent

Delivered across Pakistan. You confirm the order on WhatsApp and we confirm the total and the timing in the same chat.

We would rather carry six things we can account for than sixty we cannot. If we do not know where something came from, it does not go on the site.
